Wesley David Boughner, of Eureka, died on March 23, 2015 at Greenwood County Hospital at the age of 86.

He was born on May 9, 1928 in Iuka, Kansas the son of Frank and Ina Mae (Kutz) Boughner. He was raised in Pratt and attended local schools. After his schooling he went to work as a farmer and house painter. In 1965 the family moved to Beaumont where he ran a cattle ranch. When Wesley retired he moved to Eureka.

On May 21, 1947 he was united in marriage to Joyce Plenert in Great Bend, Kansas. She preceded him in death on November 21, 2010.

He was member of the Eureka Country Club and enjoyed playing golf every change he got.
He is survived by his children, James Boughner of Eureka, Karen Bertels of Neodesha, and Timothy Boughner of Dodge City; ten grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parent, wife and daughter Anna Louise Grisham; two brothers and one sister.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, March 27, 2015 at Koup Family Funeral Home with Mr. Jayme A. Koup officiating. Inurnment will be at Greenwood Cemetery after the service.
