Jeremy Leon Buckle of Wichita, died on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 in Wichita, at the age of 38.
He was born on September 21, 1978, in Cedarvale, Kansas, the son of David Buckle and Dalanna Gee. He was raised in Sedan and Eureka, and later Andover where he graduated from Andover High School. On May 18, 2000, Jeremy was united in marriage to Catie Breaker in Wichita. They made their home in Wichita. To this union, three children were born. He began working as a delivery driver at Papa John’s on Rock Road in Wichita, quickly working his way to be the General Manager of that store, as well as another Wichita Papa John’s.
He is survived by his wife, Catie Buckle of Wichita; three children, Kobe, Braylee, and Zoey Buckle of Wichita; his parents, David Buckle of Topeka; and Dalanna “Dana” Borgen of El Dorado; one sister, Chandra Hubbard of Bel Aire; and paternal grandparents, Ed and Joan Buckle of Eureka. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, January 16, 2017 at Koup Family Funeral Home with Pastor Drew Reding of the First Presbyterian Church of Clay Center officiating. Interment will follow at Janesville Cemetery, Hamilton.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to the Buckle Children College Fund. Contributions may be sent in care of Koup Family Funeral Home, P.O.
