Hilda Mary Theriault

Hilda Mary Theriault, of Eureka, KS passed away peacefully on Friday, September 19 2025, at the Eureka Nursing Center in Eureka, at the age of 85.

She was born May 19, 1940, in Lincoln, Maine, the daughter of Jean Baptiste and Ida (Merie)Theriault. She was raised in Lincoln and attended local schools, graduating from high school there. Driven by a desire for knowledge and a strong work ethic, she went on to earn an associate's degree in business management. This foundation led to a fulfilling career as a dedicated administrative assistant for many years.

Hilda's greatest joy in life was her family. She was a proud and loving mother to four children: Julie, Deborah, Jamey, and Daniel. Her faith was also a guiding light, and she was a devoted member of the Neal Evangelical Free Church in Neal.

She will be deeply missed by her four children: Julie Violette of Key West, FL; Deborah Violette of St. Petersburg, FL; Jamey Violette of McMinnville, OR; and Daniel McVey of Eureka. Her legacy continues through her four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Jimmy Theriault. Hilda was reunited in death with her parents and five siblings: Jean, Andrea, Johnny, Barbara, and Rena Theriault.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has been effected with memorial services to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to The Eureka Nursing Home or to the Neal Evangelical Free Church.
