Florentina Moralina “Tina” Braman of Eureka, died Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at Harry Hynes of Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita, at the age of 95.
She was born October 16, 1929, in Daraga, Albay, Philippines, to Domingo and Salome (Loren) Moralina. She was raised in Daraga, and attended local schools, where she graduated and then attended cosmetology school. Tina was a businesswoman at heart. On March 22, 1997, Tina was united in marriage to Mason Francis Braman. They made their home in Eureka, KS, where they raised their family. She worked as a dietician at Medicalodge in Eureka, and she and Mason later purchased and ran the Tonovay Antique Mall.
She liked to cook and share her Filipino foods with friends. She was well known for the delicious lumpia she made. Mason preceded her in death on February 17, 2019.
Tina was a member of the Sacred Heart Church in Eureka, and VFW of Wichita.
She is survived by her children: Joejet and wife Rocelle Moralina of Eureka; Benilda Montell of Littleton, CO; and Zenaida and husband, Ernesto Ramos of the Philippines; 8 grandchildren: Albus Jette Moralina and Jethro Zeb Moralina of Eureka; Ian and Michelle Montell; Neszen, Joan and Aaron Ramos; and Noelle Olive Zamora; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Juanita No of the Philippines. She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved Mason; her son Fernbando Zamora; her son-in-law Jamie Montell; and 4 siblings: Narciso, Saturnina, Abundio, and Primitivo.
Mass of Christian Burial is set for 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, May 20, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Eureka, with Fr. Thomas Hoisington officiating. Rosary recitation will begin at 10. Interment will follow at Blankinship Cemetery in Rosalia. Visitation hours are set from 5 – 7 PM., Monday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Contributions may be sent in care of Koup Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 595, Eureka, KS 67045, which is overseeing arrangements. Condolences may be left for the family online, at koupfunerals.com.
