Charleen Walsh

Charleen Clarice Walsh, age 68, of Toronto, Kansas, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at her home.

She was born on October 13, 1958, in El Dorado, Kansas, the daughter of Howard Glen and Betty Ann (Reger) Tipton. Charleen was raised in El Dorado and attended local schools. Most of her working life was spent in food service. On June 7, 1993, Charleen was united in marriage to Robert Joseph Walsh in El Dorado. They made their home in El Dorado before later moving to Toronto. Charleen later worked at Dollar General in Yates Center, where she became an assistant manager. She retired in 2020.

She is survived by her husband, Robert, of the home; five children: Alicia of Iola, Amy of El Dorado, Tanya of Iowa, Eric of North Carolina, and RJ Jr. of Iowa; several grandchildren; and one brother. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

Cremation has been effected. No services are planned at this time. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Sunset Lawn Cemetery in El Dorado. Koup Family Funeral Home, Eureka, is overseeing arrangements. Condolences may be left for the family online at koupfunerals.com.
