Betty Mae Felter of Eureka, KS, died on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at her home in Eureka at the age of 84.

She was born May 8, 1933, in McPherson, Kansas, the daughter of David Everett and Florence Emma (Davis) Robinson. She was raised in Eureka and attended local schools, graduating with the Eureka High School Class of 1950. Following graduating, Betty worked as a telephone operator in Eureka, until the office closed. She then went to work as a CNA at the Lyndon Nursing Home and later the Eureka Rest Home. Later she worked at the Greeley Gas Company in Eureka. Betty was also an Avon Representative for many years. On May 24, 1958, Betty was united in marriage to Leonard Clyde Felter in Miami, Oklahoma. Leonard preceded her in death on May 19, 1994.

Betty was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her four children: Deanna Kay Funk of Eureka; Brenda Faye Martin of Waco, TX; Bradley Lynn Felter of Eureka; and Gregory Clyde Felter of Chanute, KS; seven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Leonard; an infant brother; and brothers Charles and Jerry Ray Robinson.

Funeral services are set for 10:00 A.M., Saturday, May 20, 2017, at Koup Family Funeral Home in Eureka, with Reverend Kenneth Baker of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the Greenwood County Hospital. Contributions may be sent in care of Koup Family Funeral Home, P.O.
