Shirley Rundell
August 19, 1940 — January 3, 2023
Ann “Shirley” Rundell, formerly of Eureka and Valley Center, died on January 3, 2023, at Newton Presbyterian Manor, in Newton, at the age of 82.
She was born on August 19, 1940, in Zion, Arkansas, the daughter of Sherman and Lola (Jennings) Campbell. She graduated from West High School in Wichita, in May of 1958, and married the love of her life, Gary, on June 1, 1958.
Shirley is survived by her children, Dennis and wife, Cheryl Rundell of Valley Center; and Darren Rundell of Eureka; three grandchildren, April (Rundell) Powers, Lindsey (Rundell) Shelley, and Brady Rundell; five great-grandchildren; and one brother, Dan and wife, Delaine Campbell of Eureka. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, January 16, 2023, at Calvary Baptist Church, Valley Center. Interment was previously made at Greenwood Cemetery, Eureka.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Calvary Baptist Church. Contributions may be sent in care of Koup Family Funeral Home which is overseeing arrangements. Condolences may be left for the family online, at koupfunerals.com.
